Long story short, yes. But why? In 2022 you would think technology would have come far enough to just have gotten rid of viruses and harmful malware on your computer. But people will always find a way to create viruses and get their way into your computer. Not every virus gives people access but viruses always lead to something bad whether it’s completely destroying your computer. Yes, viruses can do that, to stealing your identity and ruining your life.

Some of them can even prevent identity theft. While those are the best antivirus software there’s obviously going to be some that aren’t as good. Plenty of antivirus software has giant holes in their security that viruses just find their way around. So it’s like the software isn’t even installed at all. Some homework needs to do while looking for antivirus software. Because if someone keeps all their information, for instance, credit card numbers, social security numbers, passwords, and more people can obtain that information and really ruin someone’s life.
